The Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group has established a supply chain in which the Group collaborates with business partners worldwide, conforms with product stewardship, and shows consideration for product safety and the environment in each stage from product development, raw materials procurement, manufacturing, sales, logistics and disposal. This is to ensure for customers a stable supply of products and services with a higher quality and stronger cost effectiveness. In recent years, awareness of human rights, compliance and the environment has been increasing. Against this backdrop, the Group has determined items of “Developing Cooperative Business Practices with Suppliers and Business Partners.” To promote shared standards, the Group is distributing to its business partners a related booklet titled “Developing Cooperative Business Practices with Suppliers and Business Partners Guidebook,” which summarizes a wide range of CSR-related standards in areas such as the environment, human rights and labor. Through sharing these standards, the Group will work to establish and strengthen a sustainable supply chain.

Holding Briefing Sessions for Business Partners

The Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Group holds briefing sessions for business partners, with the aim of sharing standards and a set of value based on the “Developing Cooperative Business Practices with Suppliers and Business Partners Guidebook,,” which summarizes a wide range of CSR-related standards in areas such as the environment, human rights, labor and anti-corruption, the Group shares information on activities related to each of these CSR categories.
